Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent irregularity of ignition timing according to a fluctuation in revolution at low speed by using an angle signal to be generated a given angle later at fluctuant low-speed revolutions. CONSTITUTION:A coil 8 for ignition signal generation which works as an angle position detecting device synchronizes engine revolutions and generates the first angle signal (a) corresponding to a given crank position of the engine and the second angle signal (b) corresponding to a crank position a given angle later from the position in which the angle signal (a) was generated. An ignition time arithmetic circuit 15 computes an ignition time complying with the engine operating conditions upon receiving the first angle signal (a), and a result obtained through the computation is applied to a thyristor 7 together with the second angle signal (b). The arithmetic circuit 15 is held inoperative by a controlling circuit 40 at low-speed revolutions, and only the second angle signal (b) is applied to the thyristor 7.
