Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the responsibility in the detection of negative pressure, by providing an intake manifold negative pressure sensor and an engine rotation angle sensor and detecting the negative pressure of an intake manifold synchronously with the rotation of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: The negative pressure of the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine is change into an output voltage by a negative pressure sensor 1. An angle sensor 2 generates a pulse voltage synchronously with the rotation of the engine at such timing that the negative pressure of the intake manifold is equal to its mean value. A delay circuit 3 delays the pulse voltage by time equal to delayed time T for the negative pressure sensor 1. Since a sample-hold circuit 4 samples the output voltage of the negative pressure sensor 1 delayed by the time T, the output voltage of the sample-hold circuit is equal to the mean value of the output signal of the negative pressure sensor 1. The output voltage of the circuit 4 is applied as an intake manifold signal into an engine controller 5.
