CONSTITUTION:When switch 17 is turned on, signal voltage 18 and 19 from pickup 2 due to the rotation of rotor 1 cause comparator 3 to produce output voltage A of low level at the zero point in time t1, t4, t8, t10 or that of high level at the zero point in time t3, t6, t9, t11. Pulse generator 20 is triggered at each time and produces output voltage B. Signal B, together with control voltage C of switch 17, enters AND gate 12 and it is made into output voltage D. Signal D is added to signal A and is made into reverse waveform E in NOR gate 13. Consequently, the output voltage of transistor 16 becomes waveform F and the ignition time is advanced from the position shown by t3, t3.
