PURPOSE:An igniter which is free completely of ignition timing scattering due to the variation in rotation to a great extent in lowspeed region and also is capable of giving exact and stable ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:The igniter consists of the angle potition detector 100 by which to generate the first angle signal at a position slightly advanced beyond maximum ignition control position synchronously with the rotation of engine and also to generate the second angle signal at a position where the ignition control angle is zero, the ignition timing arithemetical unit 200 by which to start calculating on the basis of the first angle signal, the revolving number detector 300 by which to send out DC voltage proportional to the revolving number by taking the output signal A from the detecter 100 as a revolving number signal and also to send out the high level output signal D when the revolving number is less than a fixed one, the ignition signal generating circuit 400 by which to select an advanced angle signal from the second angle signal and the signal C obtained from the calculated results of the circuit 200 and also to send out an ignition signal synchronously with the second angle signal only when the revolving number is less than a fixed one, and the ignition circuit 500.
