Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide anisotropy to a plastic magnet and obtain a rotor having an excellent characteristic by a method wherein an exciting field in the fixed direction is given and a plastic magnetic material is hardened when the magnet made of said material is injection molded. CONSTITUTION:An iron bowl 2 is inserted at a fixed position in a metallic mold fixing part 6, and a movable part 7 of the metallic mold is combined with the metal mold fixing portion 6. Here, the movable part 7 shall be that where an exciting device 8 with magnetic poles in the same number as the number of the magnetic poles of the desired rotor is installed into its cylinder part 7b. When a plastic magnet 5 is formed by injecting a melted plastic magnetic material into space made up by the part 6, the movable part 7, the iron bowl 2 and the cylinder part 7b, the exciting coils 9 of the exciting device 8 are excited, and an exciting field is given until the plastic magnet 5 is hardened. Thus, anisotropy is provided to the plastic magnet 5, and the rotor having an excellent characteristic can be obtained.
