Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the accuracy of the selection operation and the selection ability of the color selector most properly by adjusting the flow-out grain amount of the vibrating feed grain trough in accordance with the ratio in the case of the mix ratio of the foreign matters being changed, and carrying out the selection within the safety limit of the injection ability.
CONSTITUTION: The grain bundle flowing down through the flow down trough 5 from the vibrating feed grain trough 3 of the vibrating device 2 is illuminated by the light from the light source 10, and the light rays reflected or transmitted are detected by the photodetecting element 8. The output thereof is connected to the control circuit 13 to operate the injection nozzle 9 and in accordance with the injecting wind operation, the different color particles are separated in the photoelectric selecting chamber 11.
