Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition keeping the flexibility and processability of the original resin, by dispersing semiconductor particles in a polymer matrix composed of a plurality of polymers which are incompatible with each other.
CONSTITUTION: Particles of a semiconductor (e.g. metal oxide or organic semiconductor) are dispersed in a polymer matrix composed of two or more polymers which are incompatible with each other (e.g. a combination of polyethylene and polyvinyl fluoride). The dispersion is carried out to make the conductivity of the semiconductor detectable. It is desirable for the further improvement in the effect, that the polymers are combinations of a crystalline polymer and an amorphous polymer; their weight ratio is 1 to 0.25W4.0, conductive particles (particulaly carbon black) are used together with the semiconductor particles, and the organic semiconductor is tetracyanoquinodimethane salt having a metal- or nitrogen-containing compound as an electron donor.
