Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of the overvoltage protecting circuit, by connecting the clamping circuit to the output side of the phase detecting circuit to prevent the horizontal oscillation frequency from being set lower than the fixed level. CONSTITUTION:Constant voltage power source 11 is connected to the output side of phase detecting circuit 2 via diode 10. The clamping circuit consisting of diode 10 and source 11 clamps the control voltage applied to horizontal oscillating circuit 3 with the clamping voltage to prevent the horizontal frequency from being set lower than the fixed level. In case the horizontal oscillation frequency increases to advance the phase of output saw-tooth wave signal b of integral network 9 by DELTAphi1, a difference is cuased between the plus and the minus of output C of circuit 2. Thus phase detection mean output d is turned into voltage V1 which varied by DELTAV1 compared with reference voltage V0, and circuit 3 is controlled to lower the horizontal oscillation frequency. Thus the oscillation frequency is set to original center horizontal oscillation frequency. On the contrary, the horizontal frequency lowers down, the control voltage is clamped by the clamping voltage to give the control so that the horizontal oscillation frequency may not become lower than the fixed level.
