Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the horizontal oscillation frequency from lowering less than the fixed frequency by giving clamping so that the DC voltage corresponding to the phase difference between the horizontal synchronous signal and the flyback pulse may not exceed the prescribed level.
CONSTITUTION: The phase is compared through the frequency discriminator between the horizontal synchronous signal to be supplied to terminal 1 and the horizontal flyback pulse to be supplied to terminal 4. And the voltage obtained by changing the detection signal according to the above phase difference into the direct current through the filter circuit is supplied to the horizontal oscillation circuit. In case the horizontal oscillation frequency is synchronizing with the synchronous signal, diode 34 is turned off. Diode 34 is turned on when the output voltage of the filter circuit is increased by the mimic synchrounous signal, and thus the output voltage of the filter circuit becomes steady with clamping by the driving voltage. Accordingly, the horizontal oscillation frequency also features a constant value and never lowers less than the level.
