Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve safety in a closed type respiration apparatus for diving in the shallow sea by a method wherein moisture in the breath is absorbed by a moisture absorber and Zeolite is used as an eliminating agent of carbonic acid gas.
CONSTITUTION: Zeolite is used for eliminating carbonic acid gas from circulating gas for breathing in a closed type diving respiration apparatus. Zeolite adsorbs moisture in the gas which contains moisture and cannot adsorb carbonic acid gas and therefore the moisture should be removed in advance. For this reason, while the expiration runs from an expiration pipe 3 to a container 4 of Zeolite for removing carbonic acid gas, the expiration is cooled by a cooling pipe 8 and its fins 9, moisture is condensed and separated in a condenser 10, and then is made to pass through hygroscopic agent in a container 41 of adsorbent such as silicagel to eliminate moisture. Then, oxygen is supplemented in a gas reservoir 5 for the aspiration gas.
