Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the adoption of a control spring of a small spring constant in a deceleration sensitive liquid pressure control device, by applying from the control spring via a toggle joint a spring force to a control piston which determines a turning point of a liquid pressure in a P-valve (proportioning valve).
CONSTITUTION: A deceleration sensitive liquid pressure control device used in a braking liquid pressure system for a vehicle is provided with a P-valve mechanism, a G-valve mechanism and a control spring 25. The P-valve mechanism is provided with a piston 4 fitted to input and output liquid chambers 7, 6 and having different liquid pressure receiving areas with respect to the chambers, 7, 6. The piston 4 is moved in accordance with the force of a spring 12 and the difference between liquid pressures from the liquid chamber 7, 6 to control an increase in a turning point of an output liquid pressure to a low level with respect to an input liquid pressure. In the G-valve mechanism, a flow passage 16 is closed with a ball 17 when the deceleration is at a predetermined level to seal in a sealing liquid chamber 21 a liquid pressure of a value substantially in proportion to that of a load on the vehicle. In this structure, the force of the control spring 25 is transmitted to the piston 4 via a boosting means including a seesaw link 29.
