Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect abnormal condition of each cutting edge by dividing compound machining signals of each cutting edge into individual machining signal based on distributing signals which correspond to the machining time of each cutting edge of a tool. CONSTITUTION:A distributing signal 300 being output from a distributing signal generating circuit 20, which is consisted of a phase locked loop 22 to which a synchronizing signal 200 is fed, a programmable counter 24, and a counter 26, is employed as a clock signal to the counter 26 and is fed to a dividing circuit 28 which constituted of an analog multiplexer. The compound machining signal 100 is synchronous at an analog machining circuit 30 with the dividing signal 300 which divides output from the analog machining circuit 30 into a block of each system at the dividing circuit 28. The individual machining signal 400 of each dividing circuit 28 is supplied to the comparator 32, and abnormality of the cutting edge is detected by comparing said signal with the standard value E.
