Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled coated surface for coating inside walls of a cooking apparatus to remove fouling, which is composed of a decomposition catalyst, exerting activity on the gasification decomposition of a fatty acid, and of a phosphoric acid-based binder capable of decomposing said catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: A coated surface, having decomposition ability for oil, is formed with (A) a gasification decomposition catalyst exerting activity on the gasification decomposition of a fatty acid, composed of (i) a compound, selected from an oxide of group 1A or 2A element of the periodic table and a compound of the formula (wherein MA is a group 1A or 2A element: MB is a group 3B or 4B element: O is oxygen: x, y and z are integers), and of (ii) an oxide selected from the oxides of Ti, Fe, Ni, Co, Cr and Ag, and with (B) a phosphoric acid-based binder, such as an acidic metal phosphate, capable of decomposing said catalyst.
