Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the coated surface from being contaminated due to the deposition of carbonaceous substances to a cooking utensil or the like by a method wherein an inorg. paint free from a catalyst and a paint containing a decompositin catalyst of an aliphatic acid both of which contain a metal phosphate as a binder are coated on a bottom sheet metal in double layers and baked simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: On the bottom sheet metal such as an Al treated steel plate or the like, the inorg. paint containing the metal phosphate as the binder is coated and, thereafter, is dried in air. Subsequently, the paint containing the metal phospate as the binder and a gasification and decomposition catalyst of an aliphatic acid dispersed therein is coated on the air dried coating and, thereafter, baked along with the under coating at a low temp. of about 300°C. As a aforementioned catalyst, an oxide of IA or IIA group of the Periodic Table (e.g.; Na2O MgO), at least one or more of a compound selected from a compound shown by the formula, an oxide of at least one or more of an element selected from a group of Ti, Fe or Ni are used. Among above described catalysts, a compound such as CaSiO3 or CaAl2O4 shows especially high catalyst activity.
