Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform layer insulation and pole portion half-hardening varnish impregnating work simultaneously and improve an insulation characteristic by a method wherein each phase winding is installed to a core, and filmy half-hardening varnish is inserted between each phase of coil end portions, heated and melted, and hardened. CONSTITUTION:The stators 2, 3 of each phase are installed to a stator core 1, and filmy half-hardening varnish 4 is inserted between the coil ends of an A phase coil 2 and a B phase coil 3. Varnish projecting from coil end surfaces 5 is pressed simultaneously when the coil end portions are pressed and molded, and the varnish 4 is melted once by means of a method, such as conduction heating, etc., sufficiently infiltrated and hardened. Thus, layer insulation and the work of pole portion insulation are performed simultaneously while improving an insulation characteristic.
