Abstract

PURPOSE:To integrally and firmly fix coil end sections and to increase reliability even if the dimensions of the gaps are not uniform by a method wherein a foaming member is inserted in the gap between adjoining coils in coil end sections and each coil end is fixed by heating and foaming the foaming member. CONSTITUTION:A foaming member 7 is inserted in the gap G between adjoining coil ends 2 in coil end sections projected from the end surface of an iron core 1. And after winding binding members 6 such as insulating tapes on the coil end sections, the foaming members 7 are foaming by heating to firmly unite coil end sections. This method prevents vibration at coil end sections and abrasion of an insulating layer caused by the vibration and improves reliability.
