Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced signal with the compensated distortion, by slicing the signal with the distortion caused through various transmission systems with the fluctuation slicing level which is obtained in accordance with the data pulse contained in the signal having the distortion. CONSTITUTION:The video signal is amplified to a proper level by amplifier A1 and then led into clamping circuit C1. On the other hand, the video signal is amplified to a proper level by amplifier A2 and then led into peak wave detecting circuit P1 which carries out the peak wave detecting action with a small time constant. The output of circuit P1 is led into clamping circuit C2. Both output signals SC1 and SC2 of circuits C1 and C2 each are led into voltage comparator O1, and comparator O1 leads out the output obtained through the voltage comparison between the both signals. Then the output signal hits slicing level SV and also video signal S2, and output S0 of comparator O1 is obtained in the form of slice output signal S5 obtained by slicing the output signal with the video signal.
