Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an accurate detection of the fault by detecting the fault of the parallel compound amplifier with the output of the wave detector provided at the isolation terminal of the hydrid at the output side. CONSTITUTION:Wave detector 6 is provided at isolation terminal 4 of the 2nd hybrid HYB2 at the output side of parallel amplifying circuits 3-1 and 3-2 each. In case both circuits 3-1 and 3-2 are normal, the compound output is obtained at compound terminal OUT. But no output emerges at terminal 4 owing to the negation. However, the output emerges at terminal 4 in case the fault occurs at either one of circuits 3-1 and 3-2. In other words, no output usually emerges at terminal 4, and thus the voltage of monitor terminal MON is zero substantially. And the voltage higher than the threshold level emerges at terminal MON in case the fault occurs to circuits 3-1 and 3-2. Thus this voltage is detected accurately by detector 6.
