Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure an accurate detection of the signal component, by varying the bias voltage to be applied to the serial circuit of the wave detecting diode and the load resistance in accordance with the temperature and thus obtain the constant bias voltage of the diode.
CONSTITUTION: The same property is secured between temperature detecting diode 2, wave detecting diode 1 as well as between feedback resistance 24 and load resistance 14. Then the voltage generated at terminal 22 is applied to the serial circuit of the diode and resistance 14. As a result, the current of a fixed value can be flowed regardless of the temperature of diode 1 as long as the temperature of diode 2 is identical to that of diode 1. Accordingly, the wave detection gain can be kept constant since the constant bias current flows to diode 1 regardless of the temperature. In this case, voltage Vi caused at resistance 14 equals the sum of component VS produced by the signal and voltage VB produced by the bias current flowing to resistance 14. And voltage VB' at the joint between diode 2 and resistance 24 is nearly identical to voltage VB. Accordingly, signal component VS can be obtained by giving an operation to Vi-VB' through the analog arithmetic circuit consisting of operation amplifiers 32∼25.
