Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the highly reliable result of the measurement of the radiation temperature by always measuring the transmittance of a radiation path, and performing compensation. CONSTITUTION:An object 10 whose temperature is to be measured is carried into a furnace by a trasporting roll. Radiating sources 12 and 14 are provided in the furnace and a radiometer 16 is provided at the outside of the furnace. The radiations 22 and 26 are received by the radiometer 16, and the radiations 28 and 30 which directly come from black-body radiation sources 12 and 14 are also received by the radiometer 16. An operation display device 32 performs the operation based on the received-light output from the radiometer 16, outputs the result of the accurate temperature measurement whose transmission factor is compensated, and displays the temperature of said object. The radiations 22, 26, 28, and 30 are inputted into the radiometer by switching. Said switching is performed so that each radiation is irradiated to the light receiving element of the radiometer one by one by a rotating mirror by utilizing the difference in the incident angles of the radiations.
