Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate a voltage higher than the power supply voltage, by securing a simple switching control action in a voltage dividing circuit having a switching control function. CONSTITUTION:A gate signal AT2 and a gate signal AT1 are applied to FET1 and FET2 respectively to set both FET1 and FET2 under a conduction mode. Thus a capacitor C is charged by the potential at point B where the power supply voltage VCC applied to a voltage dividing circuit was divided. Then the potential of point A is set at H level when the signals AT1 and AT2 are set at H and L levels, respectively. At the same time, both FET1 and FET2 are cut off simultaneously. As a result, the potential at point B rises up since the output voltage VA of an inverter in added to the voltage charged to the capacitor C.
