Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize operation by integrating the waveform of an input TV signal in a reference section when eliminating a ghost by using a transversal filter and by inhibiting gain correction while correcting a synchronism shift in a reference signal section. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal after demodulation inputted to a terminal 1 is supplied to a transversal filter 2 and also inputted to a waveform integrating circuit 30. A waveform memory 31 in the circuit 30 stores as digital data the waveform of the input signal in a reference signal section, e.g., the section of a vertical synchronizing signal and its contents are read out in series to obtain an integral output. A time standard t0 for determining the said reference time is obtained through frequency divider 43 and 44. If the synchronizing signal has a time difference, addition 10 for tap gain correction is stopped via a latch circuit 49. Thus, correlation 8 between the output of the filter 2 and that of the integrating circuit 30 is found to improve an S/N ratio, and malfunction is prevented even in case of the time difference of the synchronizing signal.
