Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the variation in a laser oscillation output, by locally applying heat in plastically deforming a tubular mirror support. CONSTITUTION:The mirror support of a laser tube is held by a holding part 10' of an adjusting jig 10 having a heater 9. The mirror support is locally heated so as to obtain the state wherein the plastic deformation is readily performed. Under this state, handles 10'' and 10''' of the adjusting jig 10 are squeezed, and the angle between the mirror connected to the mirror support and the central axis of a capillary tube of said mirror is adjusted. Thus, the laser oscillation is generated in a laser resonant system utilizing said mirror.
