Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect true boom angles always accurately by detecting the inclination of a swivel table with respect to the absolute horizon and the boom angles of a boom with respect to this swivel table, and adding these. CONSTITUTION:A beam 3 is mounted freely luffably to the supporting part 2a of a swivel table 2 by way of a foot pin 4, and a gear 10 is fixed to the pin 4. A gear 11 is meshed with the gear 10, and the rotating shaft of a boom angle detector is connected to the shaft of the gear 11. The boom anble detector detects the luffing angle alpha of the boom 3 with respect to the table 2, and outputs a boom angle signal Valpha. An inclinometer 15, which is disposed on the swiveling center 2a of the table 2, detects the angle beta of inclination of the table 2 with respect to the absolute horizontal plane and outputs an angle of inclination signal Vbeta. When these angles alpha, beta of inclination are added, the boom angle alpha0 of the boom 3 with respect to the absolute horizon is obtained. A detecting circuit addes the signals Valpha and Vbeta and outputs the corresponding signal Valpha0. This signal Valpha0 is the value proportional to the angle alpha0.
