Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a stable operation under good conditions which are in match with the point of design of a compression mechanism, by detecting at least the evaporation side pressure of the 1st stage evaporator and then selecting the points of operation within a system so that the said pressure is kept at a prescribed set level.
CONSTITUTION: The evaporation side pressure of the 1st stage evaporator 1 is detected by a detection terminal 30 of a vapor flowing path 16 functioning as a route of the evaporation side of the evaporator 1. When the said pressure exceeds the fluctuation allowance range to the set value, a signal is emitted. Thus a flow rate control valve 26, i.e., a point of operation is operated via a pressure indication control meter 25 to control the volume of cooled water. As a result, both the temperature and pressure are varied for an evaporating room 9, a heating room 6 and an evaporating room 8, respectively. Furthermore the pressure of a heating room 5, i.e., the pressure of the vapor side of the evaporator 1 is varied to be set at a prescribed level. Then the suction side pressure of an ejector 27 is set at the prescribed designed condition to ensure a highly efficient operation of the ejector. Then a prescribed amount of vapor is supplied to a heating room 4 to ensure a stable operation.
