Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the capacity of a solar heat collector, by a method wherein a semicylindrical clear receptacle is filled with a clear liquid to form a cylindrical lens, and a heat collecting part, in which a liquid thermal medium is housed, is located at the cuastic curve position of the lens.
CONSTITUTION: A semicylidrical clear receptacle 5, consisting of a top wall 3, curved in a constant curvature, and a bottom wall 4 positioned facing and opposite to the top wall, is filled with a clear liquid 6 to form a cylindrical lens 1. A heat collecting part 2, in which a liquid heat medium is housed, is placed in a caustic curve position 2 of the lens 1. This constitution causes the collection of all solar heat, collected by means of the lens 1, into the heat collecting part 2. The use of the semicylindrical lens 1 as described above and positioning of the heat collecting part 2 at the rear permits the increase in a capacity.
