Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to magnetize the permanent magnet or magnetic circuit having an encircling form by a method wherein a magnetizing piece is added to the magnetizing device which is widely in use. CONSTITUTION:On the magnetic pole 2 of the magnetizing device constituted in polelike form by the magnetizing coil 3 held in between an annular magnetic pole 1 and a plate type magnetic pole 2, the pole piece 10 to be used to make an annular magnetizing space 5' between the magnetic poles 1 and 2 is provided. It is to be desired that the shape of the pole piece 10 is formed in such manner that the base section is widely formed so that the area contacting to the pole 2 will be enlarged. With this magnetizing device, a magnetic field almost in parallel to the surface of the magnetic pole 1 can be formed in the magnetizing space 5' located between the pole piece 10 and the magnetic pole 1 by merely adding the pole piece. Therefore, the material to be magnetized encirclingly installed in the space 5' has the magnetizing direction in parallel to the encircling surface, and moreover, a magnetization can be performed in such manner that the magnetizing direction is reversed with other at the encircling section where they are opposing. Accordingly, the magnetization can be performed under the state wherein the assembling work is completed.
