Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a DC series motor having small size and high power by disposing a magnet having high coercive force at the demagnetizing side of an armature reaction and disposing a magnet having a high residual magnetic flux density at the outer diameter of the magnetizing side and a magnetic piece made of high magnetic permeability material at the bore side, thereby forming a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic field is formed in combination with permanent magnets, permanent magnets 1 having high corercive force at the strong demagnetizing field with low residual magnetic flux density at the boudary of the neutral point F of the armature reaction. A permanent magnet 2 having high residual magnetic flux density is disposed at the outer diameter of the magnetizing field side, and the magnetic piece 5 made of magnetic material having higher reverse magnetic permeability than the permanent magnet 1 is disposed at the bore side. In this manner, a DC series motor having small size and high power can be obtained by utilizing the armature reaction.
