Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the durability of image by irradiating a beam of an energy density smaller than that required for sublimating an organic dye particles layer dispersed on a base in order to increase optical density. CONSTITUTION:On a filmy support 1 of polyethyleneterephthalate, etc., a porous heat-insulating layer 2 is provided as needed and then an organic dye layer 3 in which the fine particles of a compound with a specific chemical formula are densely dispersed is formed. When a beam of a high energy density is irradiated onto the organic dye layer having a high light transmittance but densly dispersed particles, its optical concentration is made greater. Thus, when a beam of a high energy density in an amount less than that of energy required for dye to evaporate is irradiated onto the organic dye layer 3 in which particles are densely dispersed, an image having increased light absorbability can be obtained.
