Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a laser recording ribbon capable of copying prints having high concentration and strong wear resistance on an ordinary paper by a method wherein on a transparent base is coated a recording material which is obtained by mixing photoabsorptive material, special copying dyestuff, special tacky material and nitrocellulose. CONSTITUTION:A transparent substrate is coated with a recording material which is obtained by compounding coloring material (light absorptive material) which has a strong absorptivity in a wavelength zone of the light emitted from a light source and is exothermic by an absorbed light, coloring material (copying dyestuff) having a softening point under 180 deg.C, tacky material having a softening point under 180 deg.C and nitrocellulose. Facing thus obtained laser recording ribbon, a recording paper 3 is installed and a laser beam 4 is irradiated thereon. There, the tacky material resolves together with the copying dyestuff, adheres on the recording paper 3 to form a copied image 7. The tacky material which is attached to the recording paper 3 permeates into the recording paper and raises adhesive property of the copied image while the sublimated copying dyestuff is diffused into the tacky material. Thus, a high concentration copied image 7 is formed.
