Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a mixture from becoming too rich after the combustion of the engine is finished by a method wherein an impressing voltage to a drive pulse generator for a solenoid control valve equipped on an air bleed conduit is switched in accordance with the temperature and the loading condition of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: The air bleed conduits 19, 25, 35, 40 are connected to main nozzle pipes 11, 28 and slow ports 22, 38 in the primary side and the secondary side of a carburettor respectively. The solenoid control valves 20, 26, 36, 41 are connected to respective conduits 19, 25, 35, 40 and are controlled by an electronic control circuit 60 in accordance with the output of an exhaust sensor to control the air to fuel ratio. Here, the electronic control circuit 60 is constituted with equipments such as an integral circuit integrating a deviation between the output of the exhaust sensor and a preset value therefor, a proportion circuit, an adding circuit, a function generating circuit or the like. Predetermined outputs are selected the control the coils for the respective valves 20, 26, 36, 41 by a method wherein an analog switch is controlled so as to be opened or closed by the outputs of a negative pressure switch and a temperature switch.
