Abstract

PURPOSE: To inhibit output increasing action of an engine at its operation when not required output increasing operation and prevent its operational peformance from being decreased when air-fuel ratio control is performed for the internal combustion engine having an output increasing function, by actuating the output increasing function for duration of a fully loaded condition for at least prescribed time.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel is fed from a fuel line, not shown, to solenoid fuel injection valves 51W56 correspondingly provided to each cylinder, and valve-open timing and time of the injection valves 51W56 are controlled by a control circuit 7 through a solenoid valve mechanism 5. In such an internal combustion engine as in the above, outputs of an intake pipe pressure sensor 11, intake air temperature sensor 12, water temperature sensor 13, air-fuel ratio sensor 14 and speed sensor 15 are input to an input interface part 74 of the control circuit 7. Then for slow starting of a car or gear shifting operation, output increasing action is inhibited, while for duration of a fully loaded state for not less than a prescribed time, an output increasing function is actuated to increase the amount of fuel injection through a fuel injection control unit 17.
