Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The tip 1 of a cutting blade is constituted by joining a small piece 3, as an edge part, made of an extra-high pressure sintered alloy material such as a sintered diamond or a cubic-system sintered boron nitride to at least one place of a polygonal base metal 2 containing the corner part thereof, while setting a fixed relief angle α for the tip. And the tip 1 is fitted to the main body 6 of a tool in such a manner that the rake angle β thereof is four times or more larger than the relief angle γ of the tool itself.
