Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the size and shape of a cutting tool constant after re-grinding through making re-grinding after transferring said sintering toward blade tip over the distance corresponding to grinding depth and fastening said sintering on a jig again.
CONSTITUTION: The strip-shaped material 1 made of a sintering is buried in the metallic table 2 made of a hard metal so that the short edge sides, not the long edge A and B sides, thereof may be used as cutting blades. Said sintering 1 is made to have a width L required for using said short edge sides as cutting blades upon grinding. The re-grinding of said cutting blades is made with the relief faces 10 and 11 of said material 1 pushed to grinding position after shifting said sintering 1 over the distance corresponding to re-grinding depth toward blade base and in this condition fastening said sintering 1 on said metallic table 2 again. Thus, said cutting tool (bit) can be used with constant size and shape after re-grinding.
