Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the electric resistant characteristics at high temp. and humidi- ty especially in an oxidizing atmosphere by dissolving a prescribed percentage of TiN, TiC and TiO with each other at a high temp.
CONSTITUTION: This electrically conductive material is a solid soln. of TiN and/ or TiC and TiO and has a composition within the quadrilateral having 4 component tion points A, B, C, D as vertexes in the xTiN-yTiC-zTiO 3-components compositional diagram (each of x, y and z is molar fraction and x+y+z=1) shown by the figure. The conductive material is manufactured by mixing TiN, TiC and TiO, further dry mixing them with a ball mill for a long time and heat treating the mixture at a high temp. such as 1,200W1,500°C in a gaseous N2 atmosphere for 3W5hr.
