Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the high density and the improvement of an efficiency of a coil strand by a method wherein the coil strand having a circular section is applied with a pressing force directed from an outer surface of a peripheral wall to the center of a magnetic core after being wound up on the magnetic core, and a gap to be formed is filled up. CONSTITUTION:The coil 3 after being wound up is contacted with a pressing mold 4 from the outer surface of the peripheral wall and the pressing mold 4 is pressurized until the coil 3 is made as large as a prescribed dimension, and the coil 3 is formed to a reduced size. Thereby, the coil strand having a circular section is transformed to an almost tetragonal coil strand, the gaps formed on the mutual outer peripheries being filled up, the coil being contracted to the high density, being made small-size, and the efficiency as the coil can be improved.
