Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a magnetic and mechnical strength by applying a uniform pressure to the full surface after temporarily shaping a magnetic powder by a one shaft press.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic powder of RCo system compound containing as a main element a rare earth class element R and Co is press-shaped temporarily by a oneshaft press. Successively, the powder is pressed uniformly over the surface by utilizing a rubber press. Applying of the uniform pressure is performed in a liquid- like resin solution and the resin is impregnated into the hole of the press powder shaping body. As a result, a magnetic and mechanical strength of the magnet can be improved by raising the density of the magnetic powder in the press powder shaping body.
