Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the precision and to reduce the cost, by making the light from optical fibers into a parallel light flux by spherical lenses and by switching the light path of this light flux by rotaing the block such as a parallelepiped. CONSTITUTION:In light terminal blocks 27-30, capillaries 19-22 which consist of crustaceous materials such as ceramic and have minute holes of very little eccentricity are arranged, and transparent spherical lenses 23-26 with the surface subjected to no-reflection coating are arranged. Strands 15-18 of optical fibers 11-14 are inserted and fixed into these minute holes.
