Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to disperse minute gas bubbles into a liquid by a method wherein a liquid-gas mixture having a predetermined mixing ratio is passed through dispersing holes at a high velocity, in a gas dispersing tank, the interior of which is partitioned into an upper part and a lower part by a perforated dispersing plate. CONSTITUTION:The liquid and the gas are simultaneously fed into the lower part of the interior of the gas dispersing tank 1 on the lower side of the dispersing plate 2, with the volume ratio of the liquid and the gas being in the range of 0.01-3. The mixture of the liquid and the gas is passed through the dipersing holes of the plate 2 at a velocity of not lower than 30m/sec. Accordingly, when the mixed fluid passes through the dispersing holes, a turbulent flow condition is generated, in which the gas and the liquid collide with each other vigorously so that the gas is split into minute gas bubbles.
