Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the decreasing trend of a torque upon increase of an exciting current in a field control type motor by providing a permanent magnet between an armature and an electromagnet and supporting a rotor which reversibly increases its rotating resistance upon increase of the exciting current for the electromagnet to a motor case in an idling state. CONSTITUTION:An armature 1 is rotatably supported at one end of an output shaft 1a through a bearing 7 to a rotor 4 and at the other end through a bearing 8 to a case 6. The rotor 4 to which a permanent magnet 3 is attached is rotatably supported to a motor case 6, and an electromagnet 2 is attached to the case 6. Since the exciting current to the electomagnet 2 increases synchronously with the increase of the voltage to the armature 1, a braking force based on the magnetic attraction to the rotor 4 of the electromagnet 2 and the permanent magnet 3 will increase. Since the permanent magnet 3 is affected by the reaction to the armature 1 and will increase its torque, it can suppress the decreasing trend of the torque upon increase of the rotating speed of the rotor.
