Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a measurment of distance up to an object that is put at the dead angle area of a ultrasonic wave, by detecting the rotating angle started from the reference position of the wave transmitter and receiver and then carrying out an operation for a value of sine wave the detected angle and a delay time duration during the transmission/reception of wave. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic wave radiated from the wave transmitter 1 and reflected by an object 3 is received 4, and the signals corresponding to the time duration between the transmission of ultrasonic wave and the reception of reflected wave are measured 17 to measure the distance between the transmitter 1 and object 3.
