CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave transmitter 1 is controlled by a pulse generator 2 and an oscillator 3, and transmits the ultrasonic wave with a specified pulse width at a constant period. A receiver 5 which is arranged in the vicinity of the transmitter 1 receives the reflected wave, and supplies its output to the CRT7.
