Abstract

PURPOSE:To exactly rectify a dark current by detecting the dark current before the initiation of a photographing, memorizing a voltage required to cancel the dark current, and rectifying the dark current upon taking an X-ray picture by a dark current value right before taking the X-ray picture. CONSTITUTION:Prior to taking an X-ray picture, the dark current from a photomultiplier tube 1 is converted to a voltage by a current-voltage convertor 11 and then input into an amplifier 6 of an integration circuit 2. The output voltage of the circuit 2 is input into a zero voltage comparator 13 and thereafter either one of the L and H signals is output depending on whether the input voltage is positive or negative. This L or H signal is applied as a branch signal to one of the gates of a 2-gate circuit 15, whereby a counter 16 counts the clock pulse from a clock pulse generator 14. A digital signal from the counter 16 is input into an adder 12 via a D/A convertor 17, whereby cancelling an input derived from a dark current at the time of photographing.
