Abstract

PURPOSE: To moderate assembling precision of two cylinders and also precision of individual part and thus to prevent defective operation by coupling each piston arranged on each cylinder of a refrigerant compressor provided with horizontal opposed cylinders with a close spring.
CONSTITUTION: Cylinders 10a, 10b are fixed on a block 5 with a bolt 14 so that they are symmetrical across a rotary shaft 8 and also of a plane each other. A slider 16 is provided on a crank pin 15 of the rotary shaft 8, and the slider 16 is enclosed in a yoke 18 on which the first piston 17a is formed solidly. A close spring 19 connects the second piston 17b positioned in the second cylinder 10b to the yoke 18. The spring 19 is thrusted into a screw 20 consisting of an external thread boss and also into a screw 21 consisting of an internal thread bore formed on the second piston 17b.
