Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the temp. of a high-frequency heater with high response and high accuracy by providing a sound wave generating vibrator to the oven side wall of the high-frequency heater and detecting the sound wave changing of the propagation speeds in accordance with temperatures by means of a receiver opposing thereto. CONSTITUTION:Vibration signals are generated intermittently from an ultrasonic wave generator 8 according to the clock of a clock generator 18, and ultrasonic waves are generated from the vibrator 6 provided to the inside wall of the oven 1 of the high-frequency heater. These are received by the receiver 7 which are provided on the opposing inside wall and opposes to the vibrator 6, thence they are counted by a counter 13 which is controlled by the clock of the generator 18. The temp. by high-frequency heating is measured with fast responsiveness, hence high accuracy, by such constitution of detecting the ultrasonic waves changing of the propagation speeds in accordance with temperatures by means of the opposite vibrator and receiver and making prescribed counting. Hence, if the measured temp. is converted to the control signal temp. controlling is accomplished easily and accurately.
