Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic material which can easily be processed to a thin plate and in a desired shape by uniformly mixing metallic powder with the binder of resin group, a dispersing agent, plasticizer, and organic agent wherein the metallic powder is made slurry with suitable viscosity and a green sheet is formed by a doctor blade method. CONSTITUTION:The metallic powder is uniformly mixed with the binder by a polyvinyl butyral resin, dispersing agent, plasticizer and the organic agent such as methy ethyl ketone, methanol or the like and the metallic powder is made slurrry with suitable viscosity. The slurry is continuously flowed on a moving Myler film and the green sheet is formed on the film by a doctor blade method. Next, the green sheet or a desired-shaped one is heated under the atmosphere at a temperature of 150-400 deg.C to perform binder exclusion. After that, the green sheet or the desired- shaped one is sintered under reduction atmosphere and a thin plate magnetic material or a desired-shaped magnetic body having good magnetic characteristics is made.
