Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a receptor having low residual potential and undergoing less fatigue even by repeated use by forming a layer of a specified thickness contg. a specified amount of Te on an Se-halogen layer of a specified thickness doped with a specified amount of halogen. CONSTITUTION:An Se-halogen layer having 20-60mu thickness doped with 20- 1,000ppm halogen is formed on an electrically conductive support, and a layer of 1-10mu thickness contg. 80-95% Se and 20-5% Te on the Se-halogen layer to manufacture a receptor. By the component ratios and the thickness ranges the receptor has a wide sensitive wavelength region, high photosensitivity and a long life, undergoes less optical fatigue, causes no ground stain, and does not damage the clearness of an image.
