Abstract
PURPOSE:To inspect the special crack in a ring shaped bodies by putting two kinds of photographic signals into signal processing circuit, which are obtained by two scanning lines of the cameras intersected each other by arbitrary angle where the cameras are scanning across the ring shaped body to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:The bottles to be inspected are moved along the conveyor belt 1, to which the lights are applied by the light sources 3, 5. The lights reflected at the mouth of bottle are caught by the cameras 4, 6. The relation between the light source 3 and the camera 4, and the source 5 and the camera 6 is arranged such that the scanning lines are intersected each other at the mouth of bottle. The number of scanning by the cameras 4, 6 should be enough to inspect the cracks at the mouth of bottle, and the scanning is performed at some constant sampling rates (about 3333 times per second). The photographic signals from the cameras 4, 6 are checked by the signal processing circuit 7, and the bottle is inspected by whether the number of photograhic signal at each scanning is equal to some predetermined value.
