CONSTITUTION: This age hardening austenite steel for a hot working tool has a composition consisting of 0.20W0.50% C, 0.10W1.50% Si, 7.00W20.00% Mn, 2.00W20.00% Cr and 0.20W1.50% V as basic components and the balance Fe with ordinary impurities or further contg. ≤0.30% N and/or 0.01W1.00% Ti or ≤3.50% W and/or ≤3.00% Mo. This steel has high temp. strength and toughness at a well- balanced state, and it is used as a tool itself or a shank material for a build-up welding tool.
