CONSTITUTION: This copper alloy wire for welding has a composition consisting of 0.01W2wt% Cr, 0.001W0.6wt% one or more among Zr, Mg, and B and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. When this wire is used to weld a base metal of pure copper or low alloy copper, a weld zone can be formed having high strength, superior electric and heat conductivities, very slightly causing weld defects such as blow holes, and causing no medium temp. brittleness during use at high temp.
